Organised by Melbourne based not-for-profit group Team Get Your Frock On! , fashionistas, celebrities and independent designers gathered for the fashion extravaganza event Frocktober, a fundraiser aimed to support early detection tests for ovarian cancer and help raise much needed funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF).

With performances from up and coming boy band What About Tonight and former Young Divasmember Emily Williams, the night was buzzing with excitement and anticipation as many unique and ready-to-wear collections by graduate designers were showcased in all of its splendour and glory, with some of them even made exclusively for the event itself.

Whitehouse graduate designer Katrina Korossy and her distinct yet fabulous collection was a definite highlight of the night – her designs having been inspired from animals with the use of horns and fur (all cruelty free and fake of course!) to create a provocative and edgy new look that is sure to make an impact in Australian fashion. Other collections by designers included spring couture and simple yet elegant formal wear.

Helen Hatzis, cancer survivor and guest of honour also made a special appearance to inspire those in attendance with her remarkable fight to overcome ovarian cancer, along with Ricci Guarnaccio (Geordie Shore) who had flown all the way from the United Kingdom to lend his support for the fundraising event.
